that is pretty awesome! i think it would be great to be off the grid and never have the risk of not being able to pay a mortgage due to lose of work / health issue and then going homeless again.

i don't know how to do any of the stuff you mentioned....have looked at the shipping containers as a possible home situation, but i do like lots of space.

you could start up a business / free lance (if you wanted) helping people do what you did. so many people would probably love to do this but don't have the know how or the strength to do on their own.

i have some land now, which i could sell to buy more land, but not sure i want to stay in the USA or wherever.

if you decide to let people pay you for helping them, please share that information.

2. What kind of battery system do you use?

3. What type of septic system are you using?

4. What kind of foundation are these containers on

5. Where did the cash come from to complete this project.

9. How did you set them on the property, crane or forklift?

How do you produce your own water? Are you able to combine hydrogen with 2 molecules of oxygen? Most likely, no. Are you storing snow? No. You are probably taking water from a well/aquifer.
