Dude, settle down, I have good sex all the time, I'm married. Been together 18 years. And what my life experiences have taught me is that we are more than just mating machines. Love beyond sex is something different.

I have had urges just like anyone else. I choose not to watch porn or fill my mind with sexual deviance. As for my man, you don't stay married for this long without understanding what love is, how to gracefully fall down and get back up. I have an abundance of patience and understanding for my man, I know he has urges and thoughts. And sure there were times earlier in my life when I may have wanted to break the chain and be self seeking in satisfaction for what so many seem to be indulging in, but what I have learned in my personal journey here is that purity is what sets you free.

Even before I got married, promiscuous sex never felt right. Of the few lovers I had, I can't say I loved them all. So having sex with someone that you don't even love leaves you feeling very empty and alone afterwards.

Now today, I simply see that many don't have the innocence in their relationships. They cheat, get involved with people they have no intention of marrying and some even try to split relationships up. I still believe in true love with innocence, because I live it. I would never cheat, I would never break the chain. I see value in being pure in motives of the heart, in not seeking out my own selfish indulgences, just because they are available; whether it be an affair, porn, emotional affair, etc. Being true to the one you live is lost art. I am in no way saying I am perfect, I am no angel, especially when I was single, but I believe real love is one of the hardest things to do... to love someone unconditionally and to keep up your side of the bargain through thick and thin.

There are times when I feel like love is an anchor, and it holds you in place through the rising tides, and then sometimes when the anchor is dropped at sea, you feel overwhelmed like you are drowning in the sea of love... or you are buoyed far from the shore... you can see the shore, but the rope tethered to you makes you feel safe.... you just sometimes see a rogue wave and wonder; will it crash upon me and break the rope.... will I drift away to the other side.

The deeper you go in the sea, the more murky it gets. Sometimes we have to go through that in real love to understand the complexity of it all.

some people have easy answers to their equations; porn and casual sex. I know I am more complicated than that and always have been.

I never sail with a life preserver... when into overboard for someone, I sink or swim. Both have had happy outcomes.

My personal point on all this is sex is not the most important thing in life, to truly love someone means sex is in the mix, but bits not the main ingredient.

Oh, and if i was singke, I could go out and have meaningless sex if I so wanted, I would choose not to in this day and age, and that is empowering to not be corrupted by a system that wants to keep you physically/emotionally diseased and feeling down.

I think everyone needs to chillax. Life and love are all about learning as you go and developing who you are, i.e.; your character, etc.

I will leave this thread with this... although I am not single, I truly empathize with both sexes over the promiscuity issues that seem to be more so than ever. It seems there are truly guys and gals that want the same thing; a solid relationship with love and great sex. The problem is both sides have to interview a lot of candidates to find someone that meets the initial criteria for their needs. And no one wants to make compromises to achieve their goals. If I was single the main obstacle for me would be the fact that so many men (and women of course) are engaging in anal. I am not a prude, but I would find it a huge turn off to meet a guy, get a glimmer of his past, or better, have him be truthful about his sexual behaviors so that I could make a decision about how bad I want to risk catching something with someone who is that promiscuous. Its a lifetime decision, even if its just casual sex, once you sleep with someone, you've slept with everyone they have and the anal stuff just turns me off, I don't care if the guy is brad Pitt, I ain't sucking a cock that's been in some ho's butt. As a woman who takes care of her body and mind, I just have standards that equate to a healthy body band frame of mind. Men are finally wising up and realizing that long term relationships with women are a thing of the past. She WILL most likely cheat on you in the future if she is of average looks or better, so the male is better off to keep the relationship more superficial so that when she DOES do what she is GOING TO DO he can just move on to other pastures.

Porn has still had a much more adverse affect on men than women, simply because more men view it, and at younger ages as well.
Young men now have grown up with poor social skills because of playing games all the time. When it comes to talking to women, they flounder because they didn't develop those skills. (And women are all about social skills.) These guys don't know what to do to get laid, so they turn to watching even more porn.
Porn does not show reality. It is focused on the male orgasm. It does not show how long it takes to help women get to the point of cumming. Women are subservient in porn, with guys cumming in their eyes etc. Not to mention all the degrading and sadistic stuff out there.

Women's sexuality is not as tied to vision. It is more about feeling and sensation. For most women. Obviously the third to a quarter of women do enjoy regularly seeing images of men. But, sex for women, is intrinsically tied to being in their bodies (sensations).
