Re: Ron Paul: "Feds may Kill Snowdon with Drone" - Vows to stay in Hong Kong & Make More Disclosures!!
if they kill him now he would be a martyr and synonymous with the word freedom. last thing they want. no no no I think character assassination will be the route they take. problem is this took them by complete surprise and they have already lost face with the public. Great theatre it is.

To all those who think snowden is a psyops i just want to say this would be a very risky move to take by the NSA and doesnt really serve them at all. even if the public ignores this scandal their whole world is based on secrecy which has now been completely compromised. Snowden sacrificed all his comforts and put his life on the line for our security. My suggestion to you is to go back listen to his interview at least twice and contemplate the gravity of what the guy has done. Lets not become so lost in our own cynicism that we turn on those who stand against tyranny for the greater good of all.

Re: Ron Paul: "Feds may Kill Snowdon with Drone" - Vows to stay in Hong Kong & Make More Disclosures!!
well, Ron Paul is simple minded. he seems to enjoy some drama. hmm, now what is Ralph Nader saying? i will be interested in that.

Noam Chomsky, so boring and irrelevant, i want to chew my arm off to escape. why were my husband and son watching him the other evening on tv??

seems to me there is some kind of something going around--viral, zombie-mentality--and an exaggerated sense of self importance.

now i hear this "snowden" is 29 high school dropout. well nothing wrong with that, and it could mean he was extra bright and was performing at a high level on his own, but ...it does not gel with the description of himself being CIA or other acronym Officer.

there are strict requirements for those jobs which are actually appointments. unless they've changed it under obama, most require four year degrees, and you have to be interviewed by the old guard.

he may have been tasked any number of ways as a Contractor, and of course as a tech he saw it all, but he exaggerated to the point of lying about his title in the video i watched (the "production") so if they only admit three months then he didn't finish the typical trial period, and probably had false credentials that were not sorting out.

the whole thing is a farce, for sure. he's a runaway, and may have passed himself off from one to another "contractor." his points are valid, and the technology has completely outrun the oversight, as snowden himself said--strong policy is the only reason that the techs and their handlers will not to abuse the information.

obviously he feels there is a complete breakdown at the point of handling of the information that is now vacuumed in one grand sweep, minute by minute, to be processed and stored as part of a huge internal government database system.

obviously this is overkill, on every level.

we have lost our way. snowden is a rabbit in the arctic. i only watched that one video, but he was merely discussive, and he hardly violated national security law in his whistle-blowing since his comments were opinions, and not facts. He observed his own sense of overwhelm at the intimate and vast amount of private content being collected, and with no sense of what to do with it in most cases.

in fact, an individual may be more concerned that their content is ripped off. certainly the very narrative of one's life is a ship in a bottle on a server somewhere.

^^ so i try to keep my own intent focused and narrow. there is no doubt that this modern mindfulness of being surveiled is borderline, and soul numbing, but what are ya gonna do??

NSA leaker Edward Snowden says in new interview: 'I'm neither traitor nor hero, I'm an American'

He was a necessary and expendable evil, for the greater good.

They wouldn't dare use a drone, or missile.

Their top priority now is to destroy his credibility and reputation, portray him as a treasonous subversive defector, possibly fabricate criminal activity, and that he was motivated to run because he was going to eventually be arrested... Yeah something like that.

Killing him would in fact make him larger than life, and even more of a hero.

They aren't that stupid, but then again, he has enough to bring them all down, and they damned well know it, desperation makes anything possible...

I understand how the conspiracy theorists think and while that is a good theory, it is far more likely that the only reason he is alive now, or was even able to leave the country is because of what he has on them, he collected a lot more than what has been made public.

In his interview there were many veiled threats, that he could have done this or that, read the president's emails, didn't want to release anything that could harm people etc.

They likely know by now what he has and what he can do, and if he is as smart as many think he is, he has that evidence and information distributed among people who could release all of it if something happens to him.

You're watching a very high stakes game being played here, eventually someone will loose.

not sure if you are saying Snowden is a fraud or if the whole thing is a fraud. Either way what is the motivation? could it be a test to see how far the public will go before becoming outraged? is it a trojen horse to get the names of all those who support him to sign the white house petition? maybe it is to create fear and obedience from a already untrusting public.? Nah.. none of that adds up IMO . the damage done far outweighs the benefits if there are any benefits. Lets not add to the huge dis-info that the system pays handsomely to perpetuate. Snowden has done use all a huge havor and our debt to him can only be filled by giving our support
