CNN has been showing us aliens on TV for sometime now.

Depends on the type, if it was a human like.. or something totally new and unknown.. I might be hopeful..

If it was a grey or reptile.. I would prepare myself for battle.

I don't know how I would really react, but I gotta assume I'd be cynical and think it was the government trying to pull some shit for some reason.

I wouldn't flinch. People always try to tell me about stuff I'm already an expert on. I just humor them.

I'd be interested but I'd take it for what it's worth and knowing CNN, probably not much.

I myself would be very neutral about it but I'd be intrigued as to how OTHERS would react to it. Especially averages Joes

With a black version of pinnochio as president and a half ass comedy reality show like CNN, I would laugh.

I don't believe most of what the government tells me so I wouldn't believe that either.

I would definitely bawl my eyes out. Not because I was scared, but because it would mean there was more then just....THIS. I would feel bad for all the generations that went by without knowing how much more there was, and relieved that future generations wouldn't feel so alone in this enormous universe. I would probably be a little suspicious at first -- too many invasion movies is bound to do that, but give them the benefit of the doubt and judge them by their actions.

So much of this would depend on what their message was. Although I suppose if they are appearing on CNN their message wouldn't be "DIE!"

Not everyone of previous generations was a brainwashed moran. Many believed there is more and that we are not the only life in the universe.

i don't have tv, so i wouldn't see it live. i guess that would lessen the impact. i'd have to read about it first, then look up the video. since time would have passed, plenty of people would have reacted to the initial appearance. so, my reaction would set in gradually. i have to say, i wouldn't believe it at first because msm is kind of unrealiable. so, as time passed, we'd have seen if the aliens were indeed real and how their big reveal was working out for us humans.
