Correct! We are actually the ones paying attention trying to warn. Its not the event that actually kills you, its the fear generated in the aftermath (which is the whole point of it all) and could have easily been handled if people did what we are doing now (paying attention) and seeing that these things are being made up and not believe them. The masses will be running around like headless chickens.
