Volvo S40 T4, 1998. Metallic red, somewhat tuned.
 Quoting: FinGuy 38032928

Somewhat tuned? What did ya do to it?
 Quoting: Maguyver

Handmade engine hood with custom air ventilation and black effect paint.. wheels painted black and red according to the car color. Handmade spoilers and body kit/hem wideners.. special led light integrated into brake and reverse lights in the lower spoiler.. some inside tuning, mostly added some red highlights around the interior.

Engine and suspension are very lightly tuned, +50hp and some crap to make it behave better when driving fast. Detailed enough?

HCV from blood transfusions during heart surgery in '89 to replace a faulty valve--now progressed to cirrhosis--cardiomyopathy with an EF of 30%--still going strong, asymptomatic--see no need to replace vehicles that run well because they are old and no longer pretty--we match, me and the vehicles
Am I supposed to want to impress my neighbors by buying a new car?
Anyone can get a car loan and drive whatever they think is worth paying for--my beaters get everywhere I need them to take me--fuck the materialists who imagine car-debt shows "status"--how pseudo-rich is that?

Yup, I thought so and I am sorry to hear about what you have gone through.

As for your neighbors, you have the right mindset. Your choice in vehicles is logical and I wouldn't ever worry if I were you what anyone thinks. You're a good guy.

I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks--they are paid for, 30+ years ago--maintained perfectly mechanically, do just what they did when new--back when I wanted a Volvo wagon "yuppiemobile".
I've been there--everywhere--and done that--everything--and I do mean everything--now live where I can't see my neighbors in any direction, have a bigger garden than I can keep hoed, and as I prepared for the derecho that just passed thru felt content that if the surrounding trees took down the power I had my own to replace it, and lighting and all essentials to be comfortably normal if it took the powerco a week to get it back on--which last happeded during the snowmageddon og winter '11---my family are all materialistic lawyers and businessmen, up to their ears in debt, living beyond their means--but probably would be in line at the fema truck for water in 3 days if weather disaster hit--they peity me because they drive brand new cars and I don't--I laugh at their values and priorities--they live in giant ugly suburban mcmansions on postage-stamp lots with neighbors close enough to smell their farts or hear them fuck...

Might give it a try, especially as I am having some severe health problems and turmeric was recommended for me a while ago to help my body fight the side effects of the pain killers and other crap I need.

What comes to reading abilities in general, my rare friends hate it because "you cannot be lied to about anything ever" and my family is very xtian and religious, they cannot tolerate anything of that sort.

But I often use it to pick up very lonely or sad people from the crowd (at work and school) and cheer them up with some small talk, I would say it is 98% accurate.
