The Poconos is not too far from me. The Poconos is a great place to go if you want low visibility. It is easy to make things disappear up there and there are all kinds places up there that you would never find (think Buck Hill Inn) unless you knew where to look. Lovely place but there are some strange happenings up there and it seems to attract drug dealers (you never know when you will stumble upon a Meth Lab whilst hiking there or see a tricked-out drug dealer driving down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere), white supremacists and now terrorists it seems, like the plague.

Northeast PA is also a hotbed for the Occult. It is probably the Occult Capitol of the Country. But I guess you got to take the good with the bad, and there are a lot of good things about Northeast PA.
