Rouhani is perfect for the tasks that lay ahead as things heat up. He's a member of the party founded by the Supreme Leader. nuff said..

Rouhani has been a member of the Assembly of Experts since 1999, head of the Center for Strategic Research since 1992, and a member of the Expediency Discernment Council since 1991. He has also served on the Supreme National Security Council since 1989; he was secretary of the council and therefore Iran's chief nuclear negotiator from 1989 to 2005. Rouhani was Deputy Speaker of Iran's parliament from 1992 to 2000.

The Combatant Clergy Association (Jame'e-ye Rowhaniyat-e Mobarez) or (جامعه روحانیت مبارز in Persian), is a political party in Iran. It is a pragmatic-conservative clerical party, and was the majority party in the fourth and fifth parliaments after the Islamic revolution.[1] It was founded in 1977 by a group of clerics with intentions to use culture to overthrow the Shah. Its founding members were Ali Khamenei, Morteza Motahhari, Mohammad Beheshti, Mohammad Javad Bahonar, Ali Akbar Rafsanjani and Mohammad Mofatteh[2] and its current members include Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Mohammad-Reza Mahdavi Kani, Reza Akrami and formerly Hassan Rouhani.

What is this for? Where is Ahmadinejad?

Its for President. Ahmadinejad can't run again - term limits. He's done. Rouhani is gonna be the man.

SO AHMADINEJAD won't be a front man for WW3... interesting...

The SUPREME leader! Iran is not in the hads of the president but THE SUPREME LEADER!

No one will be able to whine about the former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad anymore.

He was accused of all evil. Now the United States of IsraHell will accuse his successor of the same, no doubt.

My favourite was Qalibaf the Mayor of Tehran. Rohani is coming out as the leading candidate to a wide margin.

I wonder if there will be a second round?

Candidate Hassan Rohani is in the lead with a wide margin in the Iranian presidential election, according to early results, with Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf coming in second place.

An Iranian Interior Ministry official announced on Saturday that 6,387,317 valid ballots - from a total of 6,598,300 ballots - have been counted at 12,058 polling stations so far (09:30 am Tehran time).

I wish the best to the new President of Iran, to Iran and all its people.

Well no actually. As a said before he's a reformer. Looking forward to making good relations with the world. He is our last hope!

What is he gonna do about the nuclear program?

I liked President Ahmadinejad. Only that IsraHell and the U.S. always bashed him and lied about him.

President Ahmadinejad NEVER said he wanted to wipe IsraHell off the map. He was talking about wiping off the Zionist Regime not IsraHell.

W. Bush, Obama, the E.U. and NATO are only a pack of lies. They want to wage war to steal all the oil resources same they did with Iraq and Lybia.

I love Iran and its people. They are so kind and hospitable and I hope to visit again in a not too distant future.

Everyone of these candidates are extremely highly educated. They have all got doctorates and more even.

I wish the best for Iran and its people.

Negotiate for a peaceful program.

Iran has the same right to civilian nuclear energy and military nuclear research the same as other countries such as IsraHell, Pakistan and India.

IsraHell are bummed out because they have tried and tried to get Iranian Jews to return to the "mother land" for good but the Iranian Jews want to stay in Iran. They can visit there and they always go back haha!

Fellow persian here. What if rouhani was just a tool that got into office with a bullshit reformist campaign but actually has supreme leaders back for wars n shit. I mean he is wearing a turban...
