Harlot (OP) User ID: 31259433 United States 06/15/2013 08:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Had to enlarge it, then I saw it, three lights in a circle. Quoting: grumpier Looks totally legit to me, no balloons, on small drone. Yeah, I didn't notice it at first either. She posted it to my FB page and I was thinking she was crazy. Hard to see but our big pilon sign is to the right of the tree, which is were you see the black line. When I enlarged it I got taken a back for a minute. Harlot (OP) User ID: 31259433 United States 06/15/2013 08:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No it's a bar and shield sign. It's not illuminated in the daylight but the storms rolled in so it is giving off some light. In doing some research, I see one example of a lens flare that looks somewhat similar. Any lens flare experts out there? "It ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can GET hit and keep moving forward." Rocky Balboa |

Harlot (OP) User ID: 31259433 United States 06/15/2013 08:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I wasn't there. I was at another location last week so I missed the whole thhing. This was the taken Thursday morning when that huge storm rolled in with tornado warnings, hail and like a foot of rain. Our area was just hit two days prior with a tornado so everyone was out back taking pictures of the sky. My friend only notcied it after she posted it to weatherboy.com and people started sharing it and commenting of the object in the photo. Thanks, doesn't look like lens flare, since its in a dotted pattern. Don't think I've seen lens flare like that, but I have seen ufo video footage with that particular pattern before. Thanks OP. |

Harlot (OP) User ID: 31259433 United States 06/15/2013 08:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yup. Six Lights. The more I blow it up the more I can see, dare I say it....a craft like outline around the lights. I am not trying to be all Giorgio or anything, which is why I am asking for everyone's input. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1358146 United States 06/15/2013 08:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hi GLP, Quoting: Harlot Was hoping to throw this out there and get some comments. My best friend and co-worker took this picture at my work during the bad storms we had on the East Coast on Thursday. She immediately sent it to me via Facebook and all of our friends are talking about it. She also posted it to a weather site and it is being shared by many people. Details - Pic taken New Castle, DE. Approximatley 9:30am on Thursday morning. She took it with her android phone. Facing SE. [link to i102.photobucket.com] looks like some sort of high tech weather detection device.. |

I only saw one image/example on another site in which a member posted examples for identifying types of U.F.O's. I've googled and googled other lens flares and haven't seen any others like the pic I posted. Just want to put out all possible explainations. Harlot (OP) User ID: 31259433 United States 06/15/2013 08:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is Photoshop. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10185636 You can see the square corners of the "paste" if you play with the contrast. It is not photoshop. She doesn't even have photoshop. Only one person at my job has photshop on their computer and they are way to busy to screw around making UFO pics. But I'll listen if you give me more info. Maybe the big joke is on me? Who knows. Anything is possible. "It ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can GET hit and keep moving forward." Rocky Balboa |

Harlot (OP) User ID: 31259433 United States 06/15/2013 08:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The other thing too - I sent it in to MUFON, just to see what would happen. I have never dealt with them other than perodically popping on the UFO Stalker to see sightings in my region. They posted it on the site and I have now been emailed twice by the regional director and the local field investigator (if these are even real jobs). Field person wants us to contact them via phone to discuss more details. This is so weirdly ridiculous. I have to stop in there today. I will take a pic of the same area and post. "It ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can GET hit and keep moving forward." Rocky Balboa |

Anything is possible. I suspect it is. Much as I would love to see a genuine, undebunkable (is that even a word?!?)UFO picture I'm afraid this isn't it. Zoom right in on the six lights and you'll see our friend is quite right. There is a very noticeable rectangle around them. They have almost certainly been pasted into the image. |

That is an artifact in the camera lens system caused by the overexposed light fixture in the background of the photo. Have her take a daylight photo closeup of that light fixture and you will see that it has separate bulbs in the same pattern as the artifact. "Everybody lies." |

I have just had a look and it is definitely a copy n paste job there IS a rectangle around the lights. and like I said. no phone would take a picture with the dimensions of the image.. so its obviously been resized by facebook or photobucket. give us the original and we will tell you more. |
