We don’t owe that much here in CLE but it will be the same plan. In Cleveland it all started with the housing bubble. Lenders were loaning no joke 150,000 on hundred year old homes in the inner city of Cleveland back in 08. Homes that were at the peak worth 40,000 tops and that was pushing it.

Everyone took the money and foreclosed, whole streets lay abandoned. The banks then bundled entire streets and sold them at bulk losses to certain privileged developers, developers who worked closely with the banks all the time. All of a sudden they were snatching up houses for 1000 to 3000 a piece on homes that that had just 5 year before been falsely appraised at 100,000+

Now these developers who names are well known have huge acreage for penny’s on the dollar just outside the high rise developed areas. They are going to keep the area depressed on purpose so people keep leaving in droves and once enough moves out they will finally develop the land with a whole new concept of what the town will look like. Then the city will jack up taxes even more, mind you taxes are still appraised way to high from 08 and people can barely afford it. So one the new development starts and taxes go even higher it will force the rest of the low income out of the area.

All on purpose, example they just passed a law if you put a single item on your tree lawn in CLE $100 fine, if you throw away something like 10% of recyclables 100 fine. If you do not recycle and recycle yourself $100 fine. Don’t like your neighbor, throw some trash on his lawn and some recyclables in his trash.


It’s over they want everyone out, Detroit’s city services will be cut to nothing police included, the fines will start, the tax rates will skyrocket and city council will be dissolved. The state takeover form Detroit is at hand, they are having meeting as we speak to dissolve Detroit’s city council.

Snip from today; Detroit- The pay of city council and the mayor automatically goes to zero next month if there is a takeover. The Emergency Financial Manager can then decide what level of pay and power they have. The Governor had said he will take "a week or so" to meet. That week is over tomorrow.

He has three more weeks by law to make a decision. Council members are also working behind the scenes on a revised consent agreement to present to the governor to try to avoid a takeover.
