He might have the goal of restoring the United States to it's '50's post-war prosperity, and knows that hitting rock bottom economically rock bottom will force energy, activity, ingenuity, and growth when the nation as a whole goes into the economic red, and has to fend for ourselves with no international credit or commerce.

He just might even be trying to speed us into fighting for our own survival against "corporate nation-states" that have risen with the goal of making money, no matter how devastating the consequences of their actions are to the human race.

Any or all of these could be true.

but isn't communism the belief in a community coming together to help each other, almost like equality for everyone? its almost like we are 'brainwashed' into thinking 'survival of the fittest' aka 'capitalism' aka 'working for one self' is good and 'socialism' or 'communism' aka working to help your fellow man (the community as a whole) is so bad... why?
