I understand what you're saying but the system here is completely fucked, basically, if you're a foreign national from another EU state then the Irish govt must pay you money for your kids, even if they don't reside in Ireland!

This basically means that millions of Euros are being sent out of the country every month, often times to fictitious kids in Eastern Europe at the expense of the Irish tax payer.

I'm not sure where the whole fighting Irish thing came from, but as a people I think we've been defeated, it's gone to the point where there's a new property tax coming in, where you need to pay a % of your home's value each year and you can't even refuse to pay it in principle as it will be deducted from either your wages or your unemployment pay.

I really do wish at times that we as a people had the spirit of the Americans but we're fucked, and barely keeping our head above water as it is, the last thing we need is a gang of fuckers coming in and bleeding us completely dry, that's why I want a system where those spongers, both foreign and domestic can't scam the system.
