Fission is simply the splitting of heavier elements into lighter ones and fusion is the fusing of lighter atoms into heavier ones.Adding a neutron to the nucleus of an atom is neither alchemy nor fusion. In order for fusion to occur the atomic NUMBER has to increase (protons), not just the atomic MASS!

4)Neutrons can be liberated by atomic fission

5)neutrons can be liberated in the fusion process

6)Neutrons can some from cosmic radiation from at least 4 different sources as evidenced by the wide range of energy levels. Te sources to this point are all theoretical, so let's call this one source
