One question how long would this fox be alive with this glass jar on his head ?

I hardly believe that this Russian soldiers are just in time to save him.

Re: Young Fox asks passers by for help
The fox put its head down in a submissive posture, pretty clear that it was not planning to attack. Still a risk, but even if it had, it was clearly in distress due to the jar and was unlikely to have rabbies as well. Given the chance I would have put on heavy work gloves, but they may not have had them.

LoL...somebody shoulda told Foxy Loxy that her choice of hatwear for this season was a tad unbecoming.

It's amazing that wild animals will approach us for help.

Have you seen the video of the dolphin that came to some divers so that they could free it from a fishing line (4 minute mark)?

If it was Russian soldiers, they probably put the jar on it's head just for the fun of it. Then in the next YouTube video they set it on fire ...

I imagine that the little guy found the jar and was checking to see if there were something left at the bottom for him to eat. Very smart of him to walk up to the people who could help him instead of running off into the woods and starving to death.

Thanks, OP, for bringing us this story. In the middle of the river of excrement flooding over this Country from DC, this gives me a little hope for humanity. (although one might argue that it was some piece of humanity which threw the jar somewhere that the fox could find it!) bump

While backpacking once I came across a porcupine with a soup can stuck on his head. I got it off him by picking him up by the soup can and shaking him until he was freed. That was my good deed for the day.

Hey, it's not difficult to get stuck in awkard positions...I've done it with my head before too...in betweem some bars in a railing...my head went in, but wouldnt come out. I think it had something to do with the directions my ears point (the same as 99% of humans [dont quote me on that statistic !! ] )

Well, THAT was certainly interesting!

Also, a bit disturbing.....

Catchy tune, good beat. I'd give it an 8.5, maybe a 9.

Perhaps it is because they carry a "genetic memory" in their DNA that once upon a time Mankind was placed upon the Earth by the Creator to TAKE CARE OF THE ANIMALS. In a time of extreme emergency that memory resurfaces.
