Brazilians had 3 FUCKING CHANCES of not letting the PT maffia take over, and 3 FUCKING TIMES they let that happen, now they "demand an efficient and less corrupt government"???

They elected the corrupt government 3 times in a row.

There are no words in the known universe to describe how stupid that is.

In case you didn't notice it yet, the "try-out" times are loong gone! We could "try" during the '80s, we still could try during the '90s, but things got kind of defined in the 2000s.

We're in the 2nd half of the finals sport. Best case scenario now is sudden death.

In few words, because they elected themselves the most corrupt and worst government of all Brazilian history and they missed the opportunity of taking them down when the "mensalao" scandals of Lula blew wide open 8 years ago.

LOL, do you think she will say "I'm sorry" and resign???

Are you what 15???

She wouldn't be president if Brazilians had gone in the streets back in 2002 for demanding the IMPEACHMENT of Lula. But they were too busy watching BBB and did nothing. Much by the opposite, they voted his reelection and yet they put Dilma for keeping his legacy.

I'm seeing how these protests will end up, with the government tagging protesters "terrorists" near the world cup, because there's a shitload of money involved and they don't want sponsors and tourists pulling off in the last minute, because of urban riots.

They are afraid it will happen here and watching it and drawing attention to it encourages it. they are afraid of monkey see monkey do syndrome.

Everyone wants to act like little bitches on here but if it happens here it would not be like turkey and brazil. Americas is a whole other kind of beast with a lot of pent up aggression from people that are anything but fat lazy and stupid. add to that a lot of those same people have been labeled unemployable since the recession and we have quite the powder keg on our hands here.

I'm not sure how to get people to protest peacefully either
but i'm pretty sure further repressing the pent up aggression that is building is dangerous as well.

It's turned into an impossible situation here.

I was amazed when I hit the streets tonight. I never thought Brazilians were capable of being so organized, and that we would rise. I saw the protesters opening the street for cars with passengers, calling out to anyone who was damaging public property, cleaning up buildings immediately after a small group would paint the walls. I am still in awe.
