Really? Then why is it that Jesus never mentions that name in the NT? And why is it that the father Jesus talks about is so diametrically different from Jehovah? Maybe it is because there is no connection between the two?

Jesus is all through the bible,

Jesus is the eternal Word of God.

The triune nature of God is manifest

Prior to the incarnation, Jesus was the Word of God,
Isaiah calls him the Arm of the Lord, and He is known
by many names, but NOW He IS and ALWAYS WILL BE
Jesus Christ, our Lord and our God to quote Thomas.

Jesus was not telling the people to not search the scriptures, He was saying believe what is written! They didn't even believe Moses who wrote of HIM!

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

We knows these sayings, because they are written!

But then if YOU read the scriptures, you would see the truth..... as Jesus would likely say, The truth is not in you, you are the devils seed. You have been blinded to His truth and I am sorry you will never know the love of such an amazing God!
