Brazil Erupts as Millions Protest the Banks in Rio de Janeiro

the awakening?

or just the logic?

i mean, for how long have they thought THINGS WOULD GET CHEAPER?
oil and natural gas is not endless and we already spikes from 2 billion in 1850 to 7 billion in 2013.

this world will go boom.
it will get worse and worse.

Nobody could imagine that the revolution, the change we ALL wait for would gonna start in a country like mine. Europe? Nope... US? Nope... It is Brazil who is holding up the ground and taking the struggles of the common man seriouslly by protesting. All nations on earth, every single human being should follow what we are doing here!

if you see it from a economic view it is logic.

the poor nations are poor anyway.
the rising nations(like brazil) are inbetween and will directly feel the suddenly declining way of life.
the rich nations still have buffers and military options to at least save some time but they will also be hit. no doubt.
once trade declines on a large scale the rich nations will start feeling the pain too and that pain will be the worst since our entire economic system is BUILD ON GROWTH!

Re: Brazil Erupts as Millions Protest the Banks in Rio de Janeiro
Its a series of things, all related to a bad, corrupt government, check this out:
- Did you know that a drug adict here, gets a monthly fund to "be treated" and quit using drugs? Well, this amount is R$ 1,800 more or less
- Did you know that the family of a convict here gets a monthly fund too? Something about R$ 900,00. Not counting some other benefits to supposedly help on education and basic needs of a family. This is paid taking in count the number of children.
- Did you know that the minimum wage here is R$ 678,00

So, bare with me here:
A murderer, with like 3 children, one of them a drug addict, will make about R$ 2000,00/month. On the other hand an honest janitor, also with 3 non drug addicted children will make crude R$ 800,00 and about 35% discount for taxes. Can you picture the situation?

These government social programs(school and basic needs), are EXTREMELY easy to trick, there are thousands of cases of politicians "creating families" from thin air, to get this benefit. And I'm just starting. The crooks in Brasilia(our DC), get a salary of R$ 17,000.00/month, plus something about 5 times this amount in benefits exclusive to them, like, free phone bill, corporate credit card with a VERY generous limit(paid by taxes, of course), "social clothing" benefit(so they can wear a different set of Armani every week), "cabin expenses"(to pay internal crew). Its hard to know for sure how much they make each month, but some calculations estimate it around R$ 80,000.00/month(about R$ 1 million/year, something like USD$ 500,000.00), for each the 580 lower house deputy.

This is their regular, legalized income. Now, check this out. We have multiple (political)parties here, I would say about 50, don't exactly how many, but its a lot. Well, they are suposedly responsible of the lagislative branch, but also they are responsible for the public bids of big stuff(roads, bridges, world cup stadiums...) and they ALL have other business but working in the congress. Many of them own construction companies and guess what? These are the companies that ALWAYS win the public bids. So, they get a lot more of our tax money, legally. But for them, this is not enough. They do all kind of nasty legal manouvers to avoid taxation for themselves. So they get our taxes, but don't pay any taxes.

And I'm just scratching the surface here. To tell you guys about everything that is wrong here, would take about 100 pages on this thread...

No wonder we are pissed off, right?

It took long enough for people to wake up.
It's good to see people reacting but what triggered all this?
Turquia's protests? Most likely but still is so strange, this problems have being going on for years.

Apart from the money for criminals, nothing much is different in any other country. There are far too many politicians who all get paid a fortune and these same people usually own large companies and they get the bids.

Well, it may be the case, but as I said, I'm just scratching the sufrace:
Suppose you own "Ted" 100 bucks. You make a deposit to pay Ted. Ted needs this money to buy a new pair of shoes, so he withdraw the money and buy the show from saleman "Joe". Joe gets the money and make a deposit again, because he needs to pay his supplier.
Nothing unusual, right? Wrong! When you deposit the money to Ted, you pay taxes, when Ted withdraw the money, he pays taxes. When Joe receives the money, he pays taxes. When Joe deposit the money, he pays taxes. When Joe transfer the money to his supplier, he pays taxes. When the supplier receives the money from Joe, he also pays taxes. And this is not the regular "IRS" anual tax, its the tax that qualifies all of these people to be able to pay the anual tax.
in every single product here, there is an attached value around 40% of taxes that goes direct to the government, so they can pay the drug addits, the murderes and their families, while the common worker, is the one that injects money to this whole chain of taxes.
There is A LOT more, I'll be explaining it little by little.
