yesterday, in brasilia, people got up on the Congress Building's roof. (i was there...)



LOL Goverment thought they could keep on raping us violently forever and we wouldn't do anything about it. they are astounded and never saw it coming. they are so disconnected, so alienated from the needs of the people they are supposed to represent that they can't even understand how this spontaneous uprising has no leader (though im sure they will appear in time) and instead of consulting sociologists, anthropologists on the matter ( whatever!! so they'll at least get a clue), the president goes on to long briefings with her publicists... zzz.

No political parties allowed either, no party flags, just our national flag. Never seen a mob act so lucidly in my entire life.

Safe to say that this past week or so pretty much restored everyone's faith on the future of this country. we've had it, we are tired and we are not inert anymore.

There is a conspiracy around carnival. Its made to the tourists and international midia. The people itself from Brazil hate it, I`m not talking about everyone of course. But if you lived here you would know... Myself for example, I dont know even 1 person that likes Carnival or watch it. Its an political, corporation business this Carnival thing... If Brazil didnt have it, this country would be 1% better for everyone. My opinion.

So interesting. I lived in Grenada a while back. The same thing was said about carnival. That it was for the tourists on the cruise ships. For show, you know?

They don't really give a shit about carnival. Carnival is what attracts the tourists, and THAT is how they make their money.
