Quoting: alufiend 10513079 the second device was a microwave oven with the door removed. you don't need radioactive material to generate x-rays. Your cathode TV is an xray generator, the front of it is made of heavy lead glass to block the xrays it produces. If you used higher voltages, it would produce a lot of xrays. |

Quoting: FEDup 41383545 SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A local congregation says it notified the FBI after 49-year-old Glendon Scott Crawford stopped in to pitch his plan to “protect the people of Israel.” Now, Crawford and 54-year-old Eric Feight have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists by use of a weapon of mass destruction after a lengthy undercover investigation that began in April 2012. “He was very polite, very articulate. He talked about his understanding of history,” said Rabbi Matt Cutler of the congregation Gates of Heaven. According to Rabbi Cutler, Crawford’s conversation then turned bizarre, like something out of a science fiction novel. “The need to protect Jewish people and people of Israel against their enemies,” he said. And it's that last part about enemies that caused the rabbi’s administrative staff to become alarmed, and they wanted to get him out of the building to be met by law enforcement. The staff suggested Crawford go to the Jewish Federation, where they called ahead to warn employees. The Jewish Federation says after the phone call they contacted the FBI right away. Rabbi Cutler believes Crawford’s conversations at the synagogue 15 months ago were just a tip of the iceberg, and tonight he's glad law enforcement prevented it from going any further.
