Not that I care that much.. but.. the fact is.. if he smelled human scent every day of his life.. he wouldn't be shy about going where he smelled humans.

There could have been human scent all around the stand, from where the dude walked from his truck. Probably pop bottles and trash laying around..
To say the bear was unaware of a human in the vicinity is asinine.
