I believe that there needs to be some kind of Internet style network we can use when tshtf to coordinate for survival/trading purposes. Quoting: wrn0321 there are plenty of secure networking protocols that are designed for that sort of thing, even with confidentiality and pseudonymity in mind. remember, the early internet itself was designed to route around undesirable parts. look into mobible ad hoc networks, mesh networks, resilient overlay networks, darknets, et cetera... there is not single solution that will do everything out-of-the-box in the theoretically best possible way - but you can easily combine a select few excellent technologies that are free available, and can be implemented on cheap hardware. |
