Yeah, but they probably would have found the Boston pressure cooker bomber by zeroing-in on the pen he conveniently kept to write his confession- "I did it!" - while 'hiding' inside of the boat.

But maybe not, I heard there was landing gear from one of the American Airlines planes used on 9/11 discovered not far from the boat. That might have stopped the new technology. Pressure cookers and utility knives can bring a government and all its new technology to it's knees, so that pen and landing gear would probably do the trick as well.
