Re: Hubble has spotted an ancient galaxy that shouldn't exist
Quite surprised you guys are even marginally interested in this..

Given the infinite scale of the Universe...

Understanding that we live on an orbiting electron around our atom (sun).

Fractal geometry as "source" and choice of, binary 1 or 0 output, into the 3D-perceivable-hologram we call life..

Once the size (scale) of our own perceivable reality in understood..

Everything else will be sublime...

Peace.

This is the problem I have with science sometimes - instead of admitting that the theory is wrong, they say something is an anomaly. Obviously not lol.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38757792

One "anomaly" doesn't mean their entire theory is wrong, they just don't have an explanation for it yet.

The bible is loaded with hundreds of historical errors, discrepancies, contradictions, etc, but how many christians are willing to admit the bible is wrong? Not many.

At least scientists will admit a theory is wrong when enough evidence is weighed against it. Religious folk will NEVER admit their holy books are wrong.

Re: Hubble has spotted an ancient galaxy that shouldn't exist
The "age" numbers astronomers are incessantly throwing out are completely meaningless. The truth is that they have no idea how old anything is. They have no idea what stars actually are, and everything is based on redshift, which is a completely bogus means of measurement because it rests on the assumption that stars are giant, perpetual spherical thermonuclear explosions, which is preposterous.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13446836

Prove it.
Current astronomy has illustrated it's theories both in mathematical theory and astronomical observations.
Sure, all current astronomy maybe totally wrong, but someone has prove it wrong.

their chances of correctly guessing the age of a distant galaxy, is about as easy as hitting the powerball lottery. but then man is a good guesser...... I guess.

well, since the Bing Bang happened before time existed,
that means the Big Bang actually happened a long long long time ago.

 Quoting: jackie smith

So that means the big bang happened just this very moment as you are reading this, as time has no meaning outside of the universe, all time is no-time, all things are no-things, all at once all at the same moment?

Your reading this, the act of awareness involved in reading this is the no-thing god-spark that destabilized the no-time and caused a big bang, which falls backwards in time to a "beginning" point to retroactively create the space-ground for your act of reading this to occur?

Funny, they make no mention of how 'far' away this galaxy is. It's probably our own. Considering they have this 'image' - yet can barely take a shot of ISON

basically, yes:

since "light" travels instantaneously from one side of
the Universe to the other, that means "there is no *Time*",
there is no "extension in Time or Space", which ultimately
means that the Universe is still the very same "mere Mathematical Point" that it was at the Big Bang, further meaning that: The Big Bang never really happened at all
and this is all nothing other than a utterly fantastic illusion, which makes it even more astounding than
the whole "Great Cosmic Manifestation" itself.

one very good reason you should regard all these high priests of 'science' with much suspicion. None of them ever argue that the universe it probably infinite. Anyone with common sense would understand this is very likely ,so the fact none of them ever depart from their know-it-all scientific dogma makes them all very suspicious.

no, the article clearly states that the Galaxy is 10.7 billion light-years away from us.

... and the implication of that is that with the Universe
just beginning to form only 13.5 billion years ago, that
that Galaxy could not possibly have had time enough to develop as
far as it shows, in only a mere 3 billion years after the Big Bang.

They like to imagine their theories predict outcomes. When something anomalous appears, they prefer to stretch the theory to accommodate the anomaly rather than trash the theory. It makes sense, since science is built upon the shoulders of previous discoverers and would be foolish to abandon past knowledge simply because there is bump in the road. Most times the process works,,, on very rare occasions it does not...

Common sense is rather wrong when it comes to the actual sciences involved in the makeup of reality, you know.

The standard human brain doesn't have the capacity to grasp these things, that's why you are having trouble with it.

For example the idea of something "outside" of the universe, where "time" and "space" make no sense and don't "exist", is not something you can "think about", now is it?

Awesome!
Can I relocate there? Surely it must be more advanced, less juvenile, and far more sophisticated than this current space timeline, no?
Of course I will have to shed all the trauma and grow first. Please advise and send instructions.

Ha-hahahahhahaha! confirming my 'suspicion' that a) Big Bang theory is utter bollocks based on b) TIRED LIGHT.

i.e. light starts to fall apart after billions of years, becomes radio waves - look up Universal Equilibrium and HC Unit.

well, Science has already acknowledge that the theories of "Newtonian Physics" do not applied to events at the "micro-mico level". so, it shouldn't be surprising that
perhaps the "Laws of Physics" might also change radically,
once we get up beyond the "size of galaxies" :)

what Science does know is that the rules of Newtonian Physics work with astounding consistency within its own
"domain of reference", and that on the "micro-micro level"
Quantum Mechanics, and it's corollaries, also works with
