Possible Warning: Rare June Atmospheric River Heading for West Coast
Meteorologists use the term "atmospheric river" to describe a long, narrow plume piping deep moisture from the tropics into the mid-latitudes. One type of atmospheric river you may have heard of is the "Pineapple Express," a pronounced plume tapping moisture from the Hawaiian Islands to the U.S. West Coast. This is a type of weather pattern we look for from late fall into winter on the West Coast. However, as the National Weather Service pointed out, computer model guidance is showing a rare late-June atmospheric river that will take shape in the next few days. An image provided by the National Weather Service in Sacramento shows that one forecast model is depicting the highest levels of atmospheric moisture for late June in the last 30 years for a part of northern California.

might be good considering drought conditions.

it is unusual though, the linkd showed that rainfall for the next few days might equal all of what you would expect for an entire dry season.
Now is the time.
