Anonymous Coward User ID: 34708291 United States 06/22/2013 02:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This just started appearing and I have no idea WTF to do/is going on. MalwareBytes didn't find anything and I can play my MMOs just fine. Quoting: Cameron 13 [link to www.flickr.com] The blue background appears on the menu items like "FILE" also when I hit ALT +F in firefox. Any ideas? Click on the firefox tab, go to add-ons, in the add-ons manager click on the plugins tab. Find whatever it is that is running and click delete. |

I had something like that one time, down on or near the system tray. It wasn't blue though.. Quoting: Shoot straight Johnny No, it's the normal mouse-over popup. As well as all other menu-items in the windows OS. They are all blue background with black text. Last Edited by Cameron 13 on 06/22/2013 02:28 PM I am a member of the Lake Xeno Sanctuary. |

Cameron 13 (OP) User ID: 42136553 United States 06/22/2013 02:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm sorry but doesn't it say 96% available (plugged in but not charging)? If so, I'd check your battery. BTW that would mean it's probably not windows but hardware related. Quoting: Seeker of Truth Yea believe it or not, it was ClearText. It was having issues with the latest AMD driver. Thanks for the help though guys. (Checked the Event Viewer) I actually had the same issue-plugged in but not recharging with my HP laptop after a power outage. Unplugging and plugging back in a couple times solved it although I did run HP's battery check which turned out fine. Since it appears you were messing with drivers I wonder if you didn't corrupt your hardware battery reporting code. From my experience, I highly doubt it is windows but your hardware drivers which are at fault. I'd check that first. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 41263444 United States 06/22/2013 03:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I needed a laptop for mobility in the Army. When it finally goes kaput I'll go on my Ipad until the PS4 comes out. Then I'm ditching desktops/laptops altogether. I see So you are worried about the background color of the pop up? Or are you asking why the power manager is popping up at all? |
