Yea I'm about to go to console gaming and say a royal fck you to PC's just waiting on PS4. There are already websites out there that have guides for PS4's setup as desktop computers and the like.

Please...allow me to get rid of windows' garbage.

Click on the firefox tab, go to add-ons, in the add-ons manager click on the plugins tab. Find whatever it is that is running and click delete.

Nothing other then google docs & ghostery. Should I disable that?

Is it not a search bar? I had something like that one time, down on or near the system tray. It wasn't blue though..

No, it's the normal mouse-over popup. As well as all other menu-items in the windows OS. They are all blue background with black text.

yeah, I personally wouldnt have ANYTHING running from google, but ghostery sounds like it may be the problem.

have you tried setting the color scheme to standard?

I'm about to lose my gaming and install Slackware Linux but I really don't want to lose my gaming. :(

Yep. Windows Basic and then Aero twice. Did that again after logging out. It just started today and it's annoying.

Also check the extensions tab and see what is running there.

I needed a laptop for mobility in the Army. When it finally goes kaput I'll go on my Ipad until the PS4 comes out. Then I'm ditching desktops/laptops altogether.

I'm sorry but doesn't it say 96% available (plugged in but not charging)? If so, I'd check your battery. BTW that would mean it's probably not windows but hardware related.

Yea believe it or not, it was ClearText. It was having issues with the latest AMD driver.

I actually had the same issue-plugged in but not recharging with my HP laptop after a power outage. Unplugging and plugging back in a couple times solved it although I did run HP's battery check which turned out fine. Since it appears you were messing with drivers I wonder if you didn't corrupt your hardware battery reporting code. From my experience, I highly doubt it is windows but your hardware drivers which are at fault. I'd check that first.

There really is no better way to play games than on a good pc.

I agree completely about gaming. A personal built computer will blow the doors off any console available, especially for MMORPG'S.
