Hopefully they died fast...

The pilot knowingly killed himself protecting the crowd. He knew where the plane was going. Only way to save the crowd was to prematurely crash. Looks like bad winds and not enough clearance.

Kinda creepy what the announcer says right before the crash. "Now pay attention to Jane on the far right, she is going to disappear from us". And then. Boom!!

Yep. Respect for the brave man that knew his fate rested in the LORD's hands...

Despite his sacrifice..Gods burning him alive for having the sheer GALL and affrontery not to be a chistian right??

I was at the airshow up in Wisconsin in 2001 -- when the almost exact same crash happened. Wing walker... except there was almost no fire -- at least at first.

I don't understand the point of risk taking stunts for no reason like these. No need for someone to die. Such a sad thing to happen. :(

The pilot was a man - Charlie Schwencker.
The wing-walker was a woman.
It was obviously the pilot who took the split-second decision to dump it, rather than hit the crowds.
