Oh yeah take down the plane with Snowden on it. So fucking obvious. Putin would be so outraged - balls to the wall - all out war with the US. Think he was tough about Syria? The US government had not EVEN think about taking out a Russian commercial airliner. If they do, I hope you have your fallout shelter ready to occupy. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 36661384 United Kingdom 06/23/2013 04:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Interesting how history is repeating but In a topsy turvy way. There was a time when russians were defecting to west. Western nations were proud to offer so called sancuary to defectors. How everything has changed around. Who would have thought that one day americans would be running away to russia in fear of oppressors and dictators. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 32853214 United States 06/23/2013 04:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | why are yanks so bad at geography? Not all of us are bad at geography. I'm great at it. However, Americans generally suck at geography because they aren't taught much beyond how to locate continents and the 50 United States. Also, some think they're the center of the world and don't need to learn about other locations and cultures. |

Actually today globalistic scums and oligarch`s (as Berezovsky) is running to London and New-York, and real men are running to Moscow. |

The good thing is, if things don't pan out while in Russia he can always fly back to HK. No way HK will deport him because they actually have a common law system that works to protect the rights of its people and refugees. |

arkadiy User ID: 42177059 Russia 06/23/2013 05:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If I was Putin, I would give that Airliner with him on it, a good old fashioned MIG Fighter escort to make sure it lands safely. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41848696 Interesting times people Don`t worry, buddy, Russians are experts in such operation. Of course it is disinfo about Aeroflot plane number, or there was russian agent in HK with fake Snowden ID, and real Snowden is flying another plane, with diplomatic immunity, or on army plane, or maybe he flyes to Ekaterinburg, so on. |

The US government had not EVEN think about taking out a Russian commercial airliner. If they do, I hope you have your fallout shelter ready to occupy. In the one in a million chance the flight crashed for some random reason, WW3 - no questions asked. The world's most dangerous flight is currently in the air - and yes, lets hope some Migs are on the wingtips. As for the fallout shelters, the Russians already have theirs - they built a whole slew of them *last* year. That action speaks more than rhetoric, politics and any words combined. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41848696 Interesting times people or I would only announce his journey-giving details of the flight - once he'd got there just to watch who is scared enough to do something silly in a knee jerk , poorly construed desperation plan c , kind of way interesting times indeed but I suspect snowden feels safer -which really does say something about the 'freedom of speech' fallacy that america and the uk talk but don't walk |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41848696 Interesting times people Such an event would be the worst outcome for america. Puttin knows this and hence no need to protect the aircraft Hell, even obama knows this. If anything usa would send jets to protect the plane.lol If you think about it, its a catch 22 Either way, usa has lost a big piece on the chessboard |

Washington has filed an extradition order to the Hong Kong authorities on charges of espionage, theft and conversion of government property." Quoting: MyFalseWorld Given the tensions between Russia and the U.S. over Syria lately, this will certainly be interesting to see play out. [link to rt.com] putin offered him citizenship. gotta say he would not be the first american considering going to russia.....especially since russia has laid down the law regarding no LGBT bullshit in their country. they still have muslims though....and it's freaking cold in most parts. anyway, obama is ruining this country just by being president. he needs to be buh-bye'd or something. how many would shed a tear? not many. may God's will be done whatever that is!!! |
