I'm watching the rt.com feed & having flashbacks of the Occupy Wall Streeters sitting around the park playing with their iPads and soliciting for food & money donations while drawing posters with colorful crayons.

I'm afraid for our service members; there is no good reason for them to be sent there.

They are in Sinai as part of the MFO, they have ALWAYS been there along with other nations, its for peacekeeping only.

See, that's for example one of those stupid rumors that kept being spread here. They're nowhere NEAR these protests, they're just there to monitor and report any violations of Camp David.

I sure hope you're right. My one and only child, my son, is with that group right now. He and 8 others are at a little guard post about a quarter mile in perimeter on the outskirts of Cairo. I sent him an email asking him how it is today but haven't heard back yet.

Outskirts of Cairo? Are you sure? If he's part of the Peacekeeping mission, he would be in Sinai.
