A friend of mine has recently decided to quit paying rent and live with nature, although he still has a job.

im good, got savings, don't plan on spending much, gas and food and camping fee's here and there, will camp for free most of the ttime and plan on honing in my fishing and wild edible picking skills to save money on food. might pick up a few temp gigs here and there, more for fun and meeting people then for money, im a skilled worker will take me about 1 hour to find a job once my summer of fun is over

any idea where u going to go or just hit the road and let the universe guide you?

Good for you, OP!!!! Have fun! And maybe some campgrounds will hire you to do some work where ever you are. People do this all the time. You really don't need much to live. Especially when you are single.

I know what you mean. Seems like the more a person makes the more the government takes. Maybe get a cheaper place to live, a smaller used car that is paid for, and eat less. Most of us need to eat less.LOL Then you can make less money or just put away more.

You might want to start writing down each day what you spend. It is quite eye opening and will really change the way you spend money.

woohoo leave tomorrow morning backing the van now, gunna start the trip by helping flood victims in calgary/canmore, then hit the mountains from there!
