Clark County Deputy and Indiana State Police K9 were shot in a standoff
SELLERSBURG, Ind. (WHAS11) --
A Clark County Deputy and Indiana State Police K9 were shot during a stand off with man in a Sellersburg, Ind. neighborhood.

Clark County Sheriff Danny Rodden tells WHAS11 a deputy is in stable condition. A WHAS11 photographer at University Hospital said the deputy was alert and speaking when he was taken off the ambulance. LMPD officers closed streets while the deputy was being rushed to the hospital.
As of 4:15 p.m., the stand off is continuing. The suspect, whose identity has not been released, is barricaded in a house on Delaware Street in Sellersburg. Police said the man does not live at the home and at this time they are not sure why he chose the house.
Police said the suspect has shot out the eyes, or the camera, of a robot the SWAT team sent in and more SWAT officials are being sent to the area.
Police do not have any communication with the suspect.
A medical helicopter has been dispatched to the Sellersburg area, but has not received a patient at this point.
It's not yet known the circumstances that led up to this SWAT team situation.

Well, looks like this man has chosen his death. We will never be allowed to hear why he did it.

I hope so. He didn't have to shoot the dog.

Hope you'll update when/if you find out what happens to the psycho that shot the dog. Wouldn't surprise me if this one comes out just fine, kills himself, or gets off on "insanity". Anyone else would be tazed, shot, firebombed, or whatever. Be interesting to see if this one gets "justice".
