I think you are right about that! :D

“When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.”

Many of them are sub-prime car loans.
The latest bubble.
Peak Oil, Peak Civilization, Peak EVERYTHING
People who don't believe in peak oil fall into 3 categories:
Uninformed.
In denial.
Too stupid to understand it.
Which one are you?

You are correct if you do not pay cash you are simply burying yourself in more debt but years ago we decided not to fall into that trap.

Last year my husband totaled our Jeep when he hit a deer and we paid cash for his new Ford model and the salesperson stated that since it was a cash transaction the government would investigate.

However once our vehicles are paid off the money normally allotted for payment is placed in an account for our next vehicle purchase and we keep our vehicles until it is pointless to fix them my current vehicle is a 1997 Honda.

We have a new vehicle from our car savings and wasted government resources investigating our cash purchase.

Since the government does everything possible to ensure citizens are debt ridden and government dependent fiscal responsibility raises all kinds of red flags.

Some countries currently ban all cash transactions over a given amount the American government claims to be looking for money laundering or tax evasion but it most adversely effects fiscally responsible people.

Thwart Government Attempts to Spy on Your Finances

Although most people don’t know it, the first allegiance of all U.S. businesses is no longer to their customers.

They are first and foremost undercover agents for the U.S. government. The duty of discretion and care for customers has been supplanted by an overriding duty to conduct surveillance and notify the government of “suspicious” behavior by their customers and of large cash transactions.

Many people ask "just what is considered illegal or suspicious activity when moving cash?" Some people have gone to the bank with the cash proceeds of a garage sale or a car sale on the weekend, and recounted horror stories of multiple questions by bank employees and have sometimes been reported to the government as suspected criminals.

Rules for Reportable Bullion & Cash Transactions or Lack Thereof
1. Cash Reporting: If you bring in more than $10,000 in cash or cash equivalents to your dealer he will present you with a Federal Form 8300 which will require things like your name, address, and social security number. Form 8300 is the real deal and presents serious legal consequences for both the buyer and the dealer. So please no winking or playing around here as this has been on the government radar screen since the cash trade in drugs entered America’s living room and more recently as terror became a reality in the US. And to make sure professionals were listening Uncle Sam prosecuted a few famous coin dealers and sent them to jail. They then published the results in Coin World which scared the bejeebers out of everyone because like I said prior to these landmark prosecutions cash was not a big deal in this business.

Yes, it is a sign the economy is getting better when people are off in droves to invest their money in 120 year old technology.

Yes, people are smart and are really thinking about the future.

I'll take a trusty 90's model over one of those cheap plastic pieces of shit they're selling these days, any day. Pay out the ass for all the repairs that will start months after I buy it? Pass.
