OK.... the Europe hubble site and srticle says that it's alot farther out there then the other sites are saying ....they say that the fragmants are getting closer and closer....which is what it appears to be doing to me to?????so which is it.....can someone here ple3ase explain in laymens terms to the not so educated people like myself out here ....thank you in advance....

If you are refering to that picture, the thing in the upper left is a star...

Geeze people...Get a friggin grip...

I don't suppose now is a good time to tell you all that the pictures (and vid) in the OP are only 1 (one) piece of the comet...That is piece 'B' and it's trailing debris field...Just think of all the other confirmed 'large-named' chunks and their respective debris fields...
