You might want to accept Jesus as your Saviour. We've all fallen short of then 10 commandments which is God's law for perfection, as we're shaped with carnal minds and born into iniquity and selfishness; and thus cut off for God of which the punishment is spiritual death for eternity.

However because God is love provided a way of atonement for mankind, to be transformed into a new person (over time by his Holy spirit) and to find eternal life.

Believe on Jesus Christ and that God hath raised him up from the dead and you will be saved.

Pray to God for conviction of your sins, for forgiveness, for the gift of faith (this is not something we have on our own, and will be magnified as your relationship with him grows),for spiritual guidance and to be filled with the Holy spirit.

Get yourself a Bible (preferably the king james version), this is the living breathing Word of God, and by spending time everyday in prayer and reading his Word he will through time give you a new heart.

(Beware of religious institutions as most are corrupted and don't teach repentance/a pure gospel)

Although once you become a friend of Christ the principalities of darkness may take notice and start attacking you as you will be entering the spiritual battle, If you repent (seek earnest forgiveness and change (stop sinning) and look to Christ and his ways) when you sin, he will transform you and free you from all the things of this world that we get attatched/distracted/addicted to, and fill you with pure Joy.
