The Last Parable for the Christian, Jewish, Muslim Faith or No Faith at All
I'm leaving this here pretty much as I found it aside from a few minor corrections. It was meant to be shared so the copyright restrictions don't apply. The ******* division is where the parable stops and some editorializing was added.

This story starts with a book. The book is held dear by an entire planet's population. The book is a blueprint, a how to, a how not to, live your life. All who use the guide swear by it for one compelling reason. It works. They need only accept it as truth to see it work in their own lives.

As with any good book it was not put together and published overnight. Sections of the book were handed down, first by word of mouth, then printed in the language of each reader as soon as could be managed. Things being as they were, by the time the book was completed there had been plenty of argument brewing. The author had set a snare inside each section to trap those that would pretend to accept the book's whole truth. The snare worked so well that the first group to get the printed portions claimed it as their own for all time before the story was halfway finished. After all, they could prove it by pointing to the parts that said so. They and another group even passed up the last installment claiming it hadn't anything to do with their book.

The trouble was the book offered two points of view, God and mans, side by side. The author allowed each reader to make the choice of how much of each view was being offered and which one to follow. Either way the reader leaves the book thinking he follows God's way alone. Readers clinging to man's version of events always ended up making life miserable for those around them.

The author saw all this coming. The author also saw it the way to get readers a complete hard copy in every language so the entire readership could all view it together and unveil the surprise ending. He planned it that way so he could make all the people really happy for a long time to come. People being the way they are, there was no other way for them to get it right. The author placed a major snare in the last installment and let people argue about it for 2000 years.

God alone was aware the big bad scary monster that all the people feared lay safely in his hand.

God alone was aware the stench of death coming from the New Testament was that of one of His own beloved characters, a stinking gas bubble easily pricked by His will. That is what is required to remove man's view from God's Word. The number of his name is left to fight over. The name of the beloved character is Paul.

******************************************

We The People are the only big bad scary monsters left to fear. By that I mean all of us, every single one including me. We need to learn to stop using our world like Babylon The Whore. Our job is to take care of it and each other until the next scary set of instructions needs to be written.

Read the two versions of creation in Genesis. Why two?

Follow Paul starting in Acts. The bulk of the new testament is mainly composed of the letters of Paul written to enable murdering the word at long distance and for quite some time. To this day. This is not news to all but serves to iron out wrinkles that now separate all those trying to love the one True God. Don't remove the words of Paul but examine them in a new light. As The False Prophet. Remove the chains of man's view from all the Word for it to work and be of use to all.

I have some comments about this I would share here also but for now this seems plenty on its own. I ask that anyone with their Bible panties in a bunch over this go into deep prayer before responding and not automatically start shooting from the hip. Please?

The moral of the story is not listening to or reading the words of men as though they were speaking for God.

Some infos on Paul and christianity:

Some day a reformation in the Christian church may strike deep enough to get back to the unadulterated religious teachings of Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. You may preach a religion about Jesus, but, perforce, you must live the religion of Jesus. In the enthusiasm of Pentecost, Peter unintentionally inaugurated a new religion, the religion of the risen and glorified Christ. The Apostle Paul later on transformed this new gospel into Christianity, a religion embodying his own theologic views and portraying his own personal experience with the Jesus of the Damascus road. The gospel of the kingdom is founded on the personal religious experience of the Jesus of Galilee; Christianity is founded almost exclusively on the personal religious experience of the Apostle Paul. Almost the whole of the New Testament is devoted, not to the portrayal of the significant and inspiring religious life of Jesus, but to a discussion of Paul’s religious experience and to a portrayal of his personal religious convictions. The only notable exceptions to this statement, aside from certain parts of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, are the Book of Hebrews and the Epistle of James. Even Peter, in his writing, only once reverted to the personal religious life of his Master. The New Testament is a superb Christian document, but it is only meagerly Jesusonian...
