If animals cannot reason, then that means they operate based only on instincts. WHY would their instincts guide certain members of the species to engage in homosexual behavior? Who/What designed or created them to exhibit these instincts? Or would you suggest that animals invent their own behaviors even though you claim they have no sense of reasoning? That would be a contradiction.

P.S. you cannot prove the assertion that animals do not have souls/spirit. The spirit is the energy that animates the physical vessel. Without that spiritual energy there could be no animation of the physical flesh (of anything). In my mistaken view of marriage...my spouse and I married becasue we LOVED each other and because we wanted a life together. The CIVIL aspect to the marriage - aka - the paperwork - gave us rights and responsibilities on each other and protections for what we have chosen to be our family....
Gay couples were asking for the same rights and protections. They share homes, properties, sometimes children....they want to share benefits in the sytem as any couple who shares a household and PAYS their taxes and premiums. They wanted the legal right to be NEXT OF KIN when their partners are in deaths door at a hospital, to be with them in their final moments...

Gay happens. In humans, it happens in about 5% to 8% of us. We aren't trying to convert you. We don't want you or any of your family to 'join us'. We don't even believe that is possible.

Literally the only things I (and people like me) want is the freedom to marry those we love and to not be discriminated against.

That is the gay agenda. Freedom. If you don't like that, yeah, you can run to the Russia you all seem to love so much – I'm sure they have enough 'freedom' for your taste (very little). Me personally, I'm a proud American and I will be a proud American until the day I die.
