Ok, so here's a judge that thinks he can ban the mention of our Constitutional 1st Amendment rights because he believes that California's Vandalism Laws are superior. All this over water soluble chalk in front of BofA, decrying the evil of giant corrupt banks.

Also, notice all the 13's in the article. 13 counts of vandalism. 13 years in prison. 13k in Fines. Is another message being sent within this story? What is it?

he should use the rulings to shut up prosecution.

get rid of photos of the chalk drawings as they are political in nature and violate the free speech rule.

no evidence, no crime.

if the defense cannot say certain things, then prosecution should not be able to show photo evidence since the drawings violate the rules the judge just put on defense.

they are of "political in nature emphasizing free speech"

when you write offensive shit about a bank on bank property. The bank then hires a pressure washer to come out and clean it off. That sets a price for the crime.Sorry but that's just how it is.

Thats why you bring your own property to a protest to write on like cardboard signs.

they say it was on the sidewalk. public property not banks.

so the money spent will be a public service write off for the bank.

If you read the article, it's clear that he used water soluble sidewalk chalk specifically because he didn't want to cause any damage....to a company that has stolen at least 45 billion in the bank bailouts.

13 years in prison for that?
