2 Trains Collide in Mohawk New York - 200+ Freight Cars Over

MOHAWK -- Two CSX freight trains derailed just before 8 a.m.
Thursday morning near State Route 5 and Martin Road. An estimated 45 cars and
four locomotives went off the track, spilling cargo onto the road.

A CSX spokesperson said a train with four locomotives and 126 freight cars was
traveling from Avon, Ind. to Selkirk. The other train, containing two
locomotives and 83 freight cars was traveling from Selkirk to New Castle, Pa.
