Quoting: Lisa*Lisa I see Him walking the cold dark streets at night, looking for the prostitutes. I see Him searching under bridges, looking for the homeless drunks. I see Him walking down dark alley's looking for the lost junkies shooting up behind the dumpsters. I see Him visiting the prisons, in search of the ones who are remorseful. I see Him going to the local shelters in search of His children that have no home and have fallen through the cracks. I see Him out searching for the broken ones, the suffering ones, the lost ones, the outcasts of society, the ones that nobody cares about, feeling compassion for them and wanting to heal their pain and heal their hearts. Luke 19:10 "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." Thank you for being a vessel for God to use as I've been wondering and praying about where I can go to touch people and share the Gospel.. "But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.” Mt. 13:57 do you think I need to leave my home town to do this? |

What you view as "the bottom of the food chain" is actually the top of the food chain in many spiritual instances. “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.” Perception.......Jesus said: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 21057428 United States 06/28/2013 08:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | “Now one of the Pharisees asked Jesus to have dinner with him, so he went into the Pharisee’s house and took his place at the table. Then when a woman of that town, who was a sinner, learned that Jesus was dining at the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfumed oil. As she stood behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. She wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and anointed them with the perfumed oil. Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who and what kind of woman this is who is touching him, that she is a sinner.” So Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” He replied, “Say it, Teacher.” “A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed him five hundred silver coins, and the other fifty. When they could not pay, he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?” Simon answered, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled.” Jesus said to him, “You have judged rightly.” Then, turning toward the woman, he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house. You gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You gave me no kiss of greeting, but from the time I entered she has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with perfumed oil. Therefore I tell you, her sins, which were many, are forgiven, thus she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little loves little.” Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” But those who were at the table with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?” He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” :85775: |
