Ballantine Books is owned by --
Globalist German mega publishing and media company, Bertelsmann AG. Purchased in 1998.
A little research in a few Wikipedia articles reveals....
Bertelsmann AG is predominantly owned by the Mohn Foundation, set up by the Mohn family, after the death of businessman Reinhard Mohn.
Reinhard Mohn, born 1921, was a German former nazi supporter and businessman who turned Bertelsmann, a "provincial, war-shattered German publisher", into the sixth largest media conglomerate in the world.
Austrian journalist Hersch Fischler determined that the company had, contrary to its official version of its wartime activities, worked closely with the Nazi regime from the 1930s through the war, and had probably employed Jewish slave labour at some of its plants. Reinhard Mohn however denied being involved in the company's operations during World War II.
Mohn appeared numerous times on Forbes magazine's list of the richest people in the world. In March 2009, Forbes estimated that Mohn and his family were worth $2.5 billion, good enough to make them the 261st wealthiest family in the world.
He was made an honorary member of the Club of Rome in 1996
After Mohn's death in October of 2009, his widow Lisa Mohn took a supervisory position on the Board of Directors of the Mohn Foundation, which operates the Bertelsmann AG conglomerate.
Lisa Mohn was a 17 year-old switchboard operator at the company when she began a relationship with the CEO, already married with children.
Already Mohn's mistress, in 1963 she entered a pro forma marriage with author Joachim Scholz, and only became Mohn's second wife in 1982.
In 2004, she endorsed Angela Merkel for Chancellor.
