As a 24 year old who constantly longs for a relationship in his life and who has only had one long relationship in his teens, I would never even contemplate staying with such a self centered person. I have dated woman for short periods of time, and even though I desperately want a companion - I have turned away quite a few woman who were self obsessed, society following, idiots more or less for the sake of not having to put up with drama that I knew would follow.

Time and time again I see couples who continue to latch on to a relationship, that makes no sense, in the fears of being alone. Risking their sanity, morals, dignity and and even life for something that never was or never will be real.

Now I cannot speak on your behalf of what you even see in this individual, but I highly suggest that you end it before something worse happens.
