The wife of Rolling Stone journalist Michael Hastings, who was killed in what many people believe was a suspicious car crash has vowed to "take down whoever did this."

Michael Mahon Hastings (January 28, 1980 – June 18, 2013) was an American journalist, author, contributing editor to Rolling Stone, and reporter for BuzzFeed. Hastings was incinerated in his automobile on June 18, 2013 in Los Angeles, California. A friend said that the journalist was working "on the biggest story yet" and that is not surprising given the bizarre resignation of his primary target, former CIA Director, David Patreaus.

Hastings knew that it wasn't about sex, it was about Benghazi, and he had the contacts and the skills to be able to prove it. He was "off the radar" doing what he does best but was overcome by the very force that was the subject of his latest concern --drone surveillance.

His last known words were, "I’m onto a big story, and need to go off the radar for a bit.”

Hmmm....I don't know if I buy this theory but it's something to think about.

At around 3:40 of that video, the witness describes "the car coming fast, fast, lotta fast ...on Highland (cross street) car hit (bottomed out due to high speed) then fire,fire, then (swerved and hits tree)".

Sounded to me that the "fire" came BEFORE the swerving and impact.

Can anyone else corroborate my interpretation? It would be especially helpful if a bi-lingual person could carefully listen, as the witness uses English and Spanish interchangeably in his description.
