We can never scientifically prove that animals are conscious. Just like we can't prove humans are conscious. We just assume other people are.

How do I know that other humans feel anything at all? I don't. It's an act of faith.

Let's give them the benefit of doubt, and assume they do, and treat them accordingly.

If humans were to acknowledge that all life is conscious than the who system would collapse around them. Everything believed would have been a lie and the feeling of fool would set in. Ego keeps the lie perpetuated even though inside we all know the truth.

Look at this article. Does it take a bunch of so called scientists to tell us what we already knew but keep deep inside as to not realize the reality of what we are and what we do? Have we not lived around all this life all of our lives?
