No they won't let them leave...elevators are shut down!

It is a very upscale club, I assure you that they have a lot of emergency help on hand due to the crowd volume and money they rake in. It is more likely precautions to prevent the crowd from panic-ing and making the situation worse. I'm sure information will follow and we will keep your daughter in our thoughts and prayers, that she WILL make it home safely.  Thanks...she said they told her there were no stairs...she is worried There are ALWAYS emergency fire exits and stairs. It's part of building code. They are just trying to prevent the clubbers from hurting themselves and each other by madly running out of the club (stairs). They are doing crowd control to prevent panic as they investigate and extinguish the potential fire situation. And if firemen or security need to access the club, they will be the ones using those stairs and they don't need hundreds of kids in the way, lol. No worries, but it's great she is keeping you informed. All will be well. Tell her to keep her head, she'll be out soon. Thanks! She does let me know where she is at all times, keeps me up on any situation....can't help but worry
