Re: yes god does love gay people
You people are just filled with misunderstanding of what everlasting love is. Yet its so simple

being gay is not a sin its an expression of diversity in life experience

You are not Christ like

I call you Antichrists for this very reason

life & let live, stop judging others 4 you have been many things in many lives.

Yet you don't believe that because reincarnation was taken from the bible. Thus thats why you believe the way you do because of lack of knowledge.

Its not gays who are making the world a shitty place its you

Wrong, Satan loves gay people for pushing through his agenda.

Sodomy (homosexuality) is an abomination to GOD ALMIGHTY.
The Bible contains 9 specific references to homosexuality: 4 in the Old Testament (Genesis 19:1-25; Judges 19:22-30; Leviticus 18:22; and Leviticus 20:13) and 5 in the New Testament (Romans 1:24-28; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; 1 Timothy 1:8-11; 2 Peter 2:6-10; and Jude 7). The passage in Romans, in particular is so clear that it seems to have been written by St. Paul in anticipation that people might challenge the idea that homosexual behavior is wrong (in case you don't get it, let me make it perfectly clear!). In addition, there are numerous other passages that touch on this topic indirectly through comments on the biblical view of marriage and family, promiscuity, and sexual purity. Included in these references are Genesis 2:18-25; Proverbs 18:22; Mark 7:21, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5; Romans 6:13, 13:13; 1 Corinthians 6:13, 18-19; Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:3; Colossians 3:5; Revelation 21:8, 22:15.

So you have suggested that the men who want to rape the angels are homosexuals, and that is the reason for God’s initial judgment that the city was wicked. But that is not how the text reads in its original context. (ALL of the men and boys of Sodom came to Lot's house so were they ALL "homosexuals"? Male on male rape was a common way of dishonoring a person in Lot's time.)

No Jewish scholars before the first Christian century taught that the sin of Sodom was sexual.  None of the biblical references to Sodom mention sexual sins but view Sodom as an example of injustice, lack of hospitality to strangers, idolatry and as a symbol for desolation and destruction.

Ezekiel 16:49,50 says, "Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen" (NIV).

If homosexuality was the "sin of Sodom," this was Ezekiel’s perfect opportunity to declare that fact. He didn't. And neither did any other author of the Bible, when referring to Sodom and Gomorrah.

So a true Sodomite is actually someone who, among other things, is haughty and arrogant - much like many of the anti-homosexual Christian apologists that have posted here.

You shall not lie with a man, as with a woman: it is abomination. Leviticus 18:22

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lies with a man, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Jude 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after unnatural lust, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a heavy judgment administered by God Himself upon those who commit it - and support it. Many Christians today seem to be okay with these perverse and abominable lifestyles. Homosexuality, lesbianism, gay marriage, polygamy, pedophiles, those who practice bestiality...they are all the same...abominations in the sight of God. This is why judgment is coming. "Christians" now define these perversions as lifestyles of "personal choice". Well, I don't care what anyone says, I believe only God. He does not tolerate, excuse, embrace, or accept these abominations. Neither do I. I will stand against these things and stand for the Bible says. I hear "judge not, lest ye be judged". How many people who quote this passage have actually read the verses before and after it? Let it be known now, God does not allow these perversions and those who practice them without repentance and turning from evil will never see Heaven. All can repent, change their evil ways and accept Jesus as their Savior. But what I see is flaunting these perversions and spitting in the face of God. Go ahead, justify, excuse, accept, tolerate. The Bible tells us by doing so we are partakers in these sins. "...and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them," (Rom. 1:32).
