Ummm, its pretty much too late.
ALL crops and seeds have been contaminated by GMOs.
One of my co-workers used to work for a bio-tech company in the US back in the early 90s. He said even back then the companies fucked around with altering the genes of various plants and crops, and they didnt really give a shit if they got released out the wild and that it happened all the time.
He said they'd pay local farmers "shut up" fees if their crops got ruined or if things got too fucked up.
He laughs when he explains that the science of creating a GMO is not precise, and that its pretty much a random crap shoot and that they dont really know which gene is actually inserted.
He said they knew back then that all the crops and food supply was already too far contaminated by GMOs to be saved, and that it was virtually impossible to know which has GMO genes or not.

We have organic seeds over here.Although Monsanto have reached Portugal and are trying to put their claws in our farmers, but the majority are against them. The people must unite! Quoting: .:.Galactica.:. And how do you know for sure? Are you able to peek at the DNA strands and see that its all original? The truth is, you dont know with 100% certainty. Everyone is simply just guessing. Until a way to peer into the DNA of the crops and see that it truly carries no GMO genes, people will never know! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3937774 Yes we may be just guessing, but I still prefer to push back against GMO plants. That is by far the most sane thing to do.
