Re: RED ALERT: Western Australia to pay $56 per pack of seeds
I got busted for growing pot once. Prob was that the cops couldn't find it when they came to get it. It was already stashed. Ruined the plants though, they weren't anywhere near ready.

Anyhow, I got charged with self administer (marijuana, ever hear of that before?!). Their evidence was a packet of rolling papers, which belonged to a joint smoking friend of mine. I was convicted on that. I was not guilty of smoking joints, back then, I smoked a bong. The bong had already gone in the bin the night before, and as luck had it, had already been collected by council and taken away from the area.

Cultivate: Their evidence was one dead leaf (that I dropped), and an orange plastic pot, that they found in the common court yard out the back of the block of units. It was mine, but I had never grown pot in it. When they held it up in court, and the prosecutor put it to me that I had grown pot in it, I explained that I had actually bought it in Woolworths in Mosman, and that it had contained a weeping fig plant, which later died, so I threw the pot out the back. I was convicted of cultivating marijuana in it! I was really only guilty of littering in my own common backyard. I was growing in hydro matter, but the pot contained only samples of soil, so I had the evidence to prove I was innocent.

Possess: Ok, after pulling up and hiding all my plants, because the nice guy upstairs had called out and told me that cops had been looking into my sunroom window that morning, while I was at work, I went next door to buy some pot to smoke to calm down. I think that was who they were actually after, the dealers next door, but then were disappointed to have stumbled upon innocent old me instead.

I never made any admissions when they showed up to bust me the next morning. Told them I had nothing to say, until I spoke to my lawyer. They took me down to the station, despite the fact that I had to go to work, and detained me for a few hours. When I refused to make a statement, the cops wrote one for me. Full of all sorts of stupid admissions. About ten pages worth from memory. I refused to sign it and their sargeant had to sign a form confirming that.

In court, due to my lawyer not showing up and sending a dumber one to fill in for her, I was convicted on the contents of the fake statement, and not on all the laughs we had in the court room when all three cops told a different story, and I just told lies, but funny ones.

The cop who busted me stole my good pen, helped himself to my cigs without letting me have one, and did his best to deny me my rights, and intimidate little old me. The deal of pot they held up in court as evidence, was not the same juicy head I had purchased a month before. In fact, it just looked like some cruddy old leaf.

I should have been exhonerated on that alone. That was not my pot, so how come I wore the fine for possession of it? It belonged to the cops by then. I never got to smoke it.

I just fucking hate corruption in Australia now, and every other fucking corrupt organisation in the world.

If they ever hassle me about that shit, I might have to appeal the original conviction.

Australians have no backbone. They'll initially cry and wet their panties, but in a few months they'll be telling everyone what a good idea the quarantine fee is and that we should all just buy Monsanto products so that we can be safe.

It'll will be a replay of gun confiscation.

West Australians who buy seeds from interstate by post will soon be hit with a quarantine inspection fee of $56.

Those of us who buy heirloom seeds from interstate are thinking that monsatano have brought into the Department of Agriculture here.

From what I hear, diggers club is not passing on that insane charge but other seed companies will be put out of business.

There is an uproar over this, all over Oz.
 Quoting: plzxplain

I am sorry to hear that.

I just read recently that Australia has just passed a law now that is FORCING vaccines on children. The same way they do over here in the states.

The US does NOT mandate universal vaccination. It is a STATE issue, and even in the most tyrannical states there are still ways to opt out.

I'm back,just got b a n n e d , i p address apparently,
had to pay, lol.

What really interested me was how they sneak in various ways to try to control our food.
Who would have thought of making quarantine fees jump to an absurd insane price.
And why only INTO W.A. and not FROM W.A.
Do states in America or wherever you are, charge quarantine from state to state?

Don't know why you think we have no guns, farmers all have guns, usually a few, other people do to, they have to be registered and the owners have a license and they MUST be locked in a secure place.
(so kids can't get to them, like we hear and see in America where they are laying around within easy reach of kids)

Or are we both not hearing the truth and have preconceived ideas?

Imagine if every person in the world got one (heirloom) seed and grew one plant.

I'm going to sleep with that thought, maybe I can make it a reality in my dreams.

We really need to stop this $56 bullshit first and most of all, stop monsatono.
The world has to unite against them.

Start a club.
Form a company if need be.
You might even be able to get govt assistance.
We do it here in Thailand for village made products, like a cooperative - keeps the local economy going now that the youngsters all want(have to) to work as a desk slave for companies.

Sounds like a good business opportunity to start heirloom seed farms in each state...

I SELL plants and seeds online and I do send to west aus.
My seed is heirloom. I hAVe posted plants to WA without going through quarantine and there hasn't been a problem.
Gardeners are different. We been ignoring these restriction for eva. I live in Tassie nd the quarantine is the same, but I still get plants in the mail.
Haven't got caught yet. Can they catch you????????
