I seriously thought you were trolling with your first post, but i gues the US is really in a slave like state then. Firstly, he was having a discussion WHILE non paid lunch. Secondly, having discussions are healthy, communicating with your colleagues is good aswell. Yes religion and politics is good for the workplace aswell, like every discussion it can lead to a beter understanding, and these topics are very important. Omg i really feel sad for you for you believing the things you say. |

Since you weren't on the clock during that break, but you were on the company property. If you are disciplined or your employment it terminated, (and the Asian folks who voiced their opinion are not treated the same as you) I would consider filing charges of discrimination against that employer. No matter what, I would be looking for another employer. One that is less insane, if possible. Good luck, OP. |
