Scan it.
Machine one up out of PA66.
Run it up to 20,000 rpm and see what she'll do...

Re: Schist Disk: A Mysterious Piece Of Sophisticated Technology From Egypt
The ancient Indians (from India) had aircraft (Vimanas) and they were controlled by sound.

Why could this Tri-lobed disk not be a sound generator. At a certain RPM it probably produced a melodious sound, possibly even more than one single frequency, to then be utilized to do other productive things such as softening stone, producing anti-gravity or driving a whole army crazy with ultra-sound vibes.

Think about this - I feel that this is probably the best explanation of all.

"If the Schist Disk is in fact a wheel it would mean ancient Egyptians possessed knowledge of the wheel about 3000 BC during the time of the first dynasty! This would require Egyptologists to re-write some history books."

whatever... there has never been a body found in any of the pyramids but they're still referred to as 'tombs'

they will NEVER admit to being wrong -- it's part of the human origin AGENDA

A sound device is quite possible i'm surprised nobody has recreated it for a test.

More outlandish maybe it's a water heater spin that up in a pool for free hot water.

Yes. It was evidently made to attach to a shaft, and be rotated.

Wouldn't it be really easy to 3D print one and test it ?

Re: Schist Disk: A Mysterious Piece Of Sophisticated Technology From Egypt
It was a rim spinner for the bro's chariot wheels..."they iz spinnin' and spinnin' and spinnin'!"

I have no clue as it predates the wheel it says.

Interesting to think about as it doesn't appear it would be very functional as a bowl or food server/plate. The center "hub" looking thing kinda leads you to believe it was attached to something...

Cool stuff...

I suppose it would be now, what with 3D METAL printers.

Print one in titanium, and check it out for aerodyamics and implosion characteristics.

My first thought is a tool / a kind of winder, used in the making of ropes etc.

My second thought is an agricultural tool.

Re: Schist Disk: A Mysterious Piece Of Sophisticated Technology From Egypt
It was not used for grain threshing.
On the farm a stone device could not avoid being broken by the jostling of being dropped and banged into by animals. Not to mention the wear from sand in the grain and loose stones caught between the blades.
The schist may have derived energy from spinning in a moving fluid other than water, otherwise it would have been made of wood.
Maybe boiling honey? ( Seriously, the Egyptians could have heated honey and used it in a temple for a turbine apparatus that operated the pulleys that opened temple doors for special times of the year. Honey was sacred, and the scent may have stood in for the presence of a holy entity.) Or perhaps heated sandalwood oil, for the same reason.

I know exactly what this disk was for....it is much more amazing than anyone could ever imagine. It is for a technology grander than any that exists in even this modern world....any egyptologists or professional mechanical engineer interested to know it's purpose contact me at [email protected]. I have submited patents for this discovery and i will only share with serious egyptologists and engineers.
