I know a couple of guys who were recorded speeding and went home to get a shovel. Just dug the damn thing out. Shame they got caught- teh police followed the shovel's tracks.

A camera in a town I grew up near was out of order, because of the bullet holes. Eventually, the municipality removed all cameras because it was too expensive to replace and or repair them all the time.
