Almost every Western nation in the world spies on even their allies and many of the Eastern nations as well and probably a bunch of the so called undeveloped nations to boot. Most of the time they get away with it because if the two nations are allies they will share what they learned with the nation they spied on. The difference here is it has become public knowledge that the US has been spying on their allies so the politicians in Europe have no choice, but to pretend to be outraged over this. The PM or Chancellor of each country has probably personally called Obama to say that they are only doing this to save their own political skin and do not intend to carry out any of their threats. As for them loosing in Afghanistan well that mission had the blessing of Nato from the getgo so you can't really put the full blame on the US though with Iraq I guess you could make an argument. And about their envolment in the Economic collapse, most of Europe and China as well I believe willingly went along with it. America may be the best example of being responsible for all kinds of evil they are not the only ones responsible here. And getting rid of America would only be the beginning of the solution. |

I am pretty sure that your English was good enough to make clear how we in Europe and especially in Germany think about the U.S. Gobamaverment. On the other hand, believe me, most Americans see this the very same way. That's the bad thing, they see it and do nothing. Its because Americans are too comfortable in this time to risk losing those comforts to do what is right. But don't get too caught up in this because there really isn't that big of a difference between America and most of Europe. America may be the worst, but that's only by a small margin. And I fear the woes America is facing today and will face in the near future will be visited upon the rest of the world if some major changes are not made soon. |
